We’ve got a lot of blogging to catch up on from this summer. But for now, here’s some pics from yesterday’s dive in Mexico in\u00a0Cenote Naharon in Sistema Naranjal, just south of Tulum.<\/p>\n

The section we spent a bunch of time in yesterday is right in the helocline, where “lighter” fresh water floats on top of denser salt water; the helocline is super pretty and produces a lot of cool effects with light and impacts the look of the cave decorations. Here’s some quick screen-grabs.<\/p>\n

Over-under helocline shot – above is slightly tannic, formations stained, below is salt, and blue water and mostly white formations. Swimming pool affect.<\/p><\/div>\n

The top of this formation is stained from being in the fresh tannic water, below stays white since in salt water.<\/p><\/div>\n
