Peacock Springs Flooded

31 feet… and we’re done. Despite great dives there two days ago, Peacock Springs is yet again closed due to flooding after recently re-opening on 11 Aug. High Suwannee River for much rain is the reason.

Peacock usually floods when the river height at the Luraville gauge is over 25-26 feet, but recently the system stayed diveable to the 30′ range, likely due to the aquifer having recovered some from recent years’ drought.
