Work In Progress

We used to have a curated list of some of our Diving-Related favorites from Amazon, then Amazon discontinued that platform. We’re slowly re-building links to those items.

Then Amazon made another change and broke the links again… we’re working on rebuilding… again!

TEMPORARY SOLUTION:
Some of these recommended product links are available in a Wet Rocks Clients-Only Page here.

Fitness Books

Swimming

Drysuit Accessories

For emergency seal repair (below)
Good tape for She-P (below)

Dive Tools

Seems to work just as well as a C-spanner, costs much less, slightly shorter (good thing) (below).

From checking your backup lights to keeping the mosquitos at bay.

Dry-Caving – coming soon!

Hawai’i Books

Cave Diving Books

If any of the Amazon prices are dumb, try checking the NSS-CDS bookstore. Less selection, but better prices when Amazon has prices jacked up.

Other Diving Books

Misc Consumables: Pencils, Rags, Batteries

We’ve stopped getting SAFTs on Amazon because too many counterfeits, below is what we’re using now. Shipping is included without a minimum spend. So far they’ve been good. Different quantities are available: (1 pack, 2, 4, 6 etc). The 9V is for the JJ-CCR head.

4 pack SAFT AA

SAFT AA

JJ 9V

JJ 9V

The combo of the below two is a better deal if you have Amazon prime.

Gear Set-Up: Bungee, Cave Line, etc.

Bike inner tube that can be used on 2″ webbing for retainers, make sure you choose the “26”x1.75-2.25″ Schrader” size.
Bungee/shock cord: “thin” size is 1/8 inch thickness (gauges, necklaces), “thick” size is 3/16 inch thickness (pocket bungees, “ballast” primary light loop). Comes in various colors and lengths.
The cave line used to attach boltsnaps doesn’t need to be black, but if you want it to be, you can find black cave line below.

Survey

Waterproof paper for laser printers (NOT INK JET)
This is a survey compass, NOT good for the pencil-attach method, but good for wrist lanyard or bungeed-to-wetnotes method. Fixed declination adjustment. Northern Hemisphere only. This is sufficient for most. Suunto A-30 NH
This is a survey compass, NOT good for the pencil-attach method, but good for wrist lanyard or bungeed-to-wetnotes method. ADJUSTABLE declination adjustment. Northern Hemisphere only. Suunto M-3 NH
This is a survey compass, NOT good for the pencil-attach method, but good for wrist lanyard or bungeed-to-wetnotes method. Adjustable declination. Global balance. Has more features that’s what you want, but a cheaper compass is more than sufficient in most situations. Suunto M-3 G
