I’m teaching a GUE Fundamentals this week, so Open Water fun for me. But here’s the conditions board from Extreme Exposure dive shop showing the local cave conditions. In short, we’ve had A LOT less rain recently; therefore, everything’s improving. Most commonly visited sites are open, and many are improving conditions. Rumor has it that Devil’s System at Ginnie Springs is blue again.

I’ve been teaching at Manatee and Catfish Hotel is clear in the basin. Water level at roughly height of the cement “bottom” step. Tons of baby catfish there right now, following you like puppy dogs around the basin. Look for future posts with pictures.
