WKPP Safety Weekend

This past weekend was the Woodville Karst Plain Project’s (WKPP) Safety Weekend. We got together in Tallahassee to renew CPR/First Aid certifications, review site-specific emergency procedures including those for unimproved sink holes, and practice above- and below-water skills.  Lots of work, but also, lots of fun with some great friends, divers, and buddies.

We dove at Emerald Sink, which is a karst window to the Wakulla-Leon System, several miles upstream of Wakulla Springs. Here’s some more pics:
